HANGING ON......

I've been friends with her forever it seems like.  We know each other well and even though we don't live close enough to see each other even every year, we have an intuitive "sixth sense" about our relationship.  She seems to always know when I need her the most and I can sense when she's at the end of her last thread.   I always jokingly ask her, "girl is that last fingernail still holding on......and then I'll say...if not then what color 'duct tape' do you want me to be sending you.
Don't you be letting that last fingernail break.....HOLD ON!!!!"

Holding on during hard times can be tiring, exhausting and lonely...
It feels like your just out there all by yourself,
alone.
"nobody cares about you"
"people 'done' done' you wrong"
"you feel like giving up"
"like letting go"

hanging alone....
nobody really does it...
if you can't tie a knot at the end of the rope yourself...
most often you have about a million folks you don't even know about all working together in some mysterious praying kind of way to keep you hanging on....most often...
you don't even know it...most often when it is me...I'm completely clueless.

There is an invisible thread---a life line of love if you will
that grows in the center of that last thread.
It is an umbilical cord of such...
connected back at the Womb of Life....
when it feels like that last thread will break
or
like your gonna cut it yourself...
something happens...
I can't explain it
but it has happened to me more times than I could even begin to articulate....
a pulsing of sort...
energy connected at the Womb surges...
and
just as you think your gonna fall,
SHE uses the energy of others
to grab hold of you...
invisible threads of silken love
enfold you
weave a safety net under you,
cocoon you inside a protective border
and
nurture you until your connection
allows you to hold on unassisted again.

DO NOT GIVE UP!
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
IF YOU FELL LIKE FALLING,
Grab the duct tape and
rest in the invisible web of love until
you are strong enough
to do it alone....

JUST KEEP HANGING ON....

To anyone who is about to break
their last fingernail and let go..
this is for you this morning...
rest in the invisible web
of communal strands and rest....
"Something" will help you hang on!!!!
