Open Up and Shine......

A tiny seed is planted in the world,

in most cases but not all,

the seed is touched,

nurtured,

watered and watched as it is buried

deep in the warmth of Mother Earth.

It is placed in the light of the "Sonshine"

incubated under the glimmer of the moon bow

It begins...

to slowly

open its' tiny door,

roots and arms spring forth

stretching if you will,

pushing down,

reaching up,

living,

breathing,

growing,

pulled toward the clouds.

Rain falls,

the weather storms,

the roots hold....

and

all the while,

incubation inside the silky cocoon continues,

fetal position still,

head turned

listening to the eternal drum of heart sounds

beckoning toward being....

It feels like it will never ever happen,

feels like it might not make it...

it sways gently as the wind blows...

twisting and turning

more

Sunshine calling...

and

then

suddenly

in

a spiritually mystical fashion,

IT happens,

the call of life awakens the sleeping petals

and

one morning,

sleep is wiped away,

and

one by one,

the petals of our heart,

spring forth,

shine forth

bloom

and

it is a beautiful sight.
