There's an Alien in my Mouth....

What a day!  Madison is still having trouble with her face and teeth from her wisdom tooth extraction and I got up sick today and had to call into work.  I was all woozy and light headed and almost passed out several times.  I think it was either vertigo, a drop in blood sugar from not eating enough yesterday or else one of my "crazy pills" caused my blood pressure to bottom out.   So Big Daddy, who stayed home today to take care of Madi, ended up taking care of everyone.  Braham is leaving on his beach trip and Big Daddy had to go buy him snacks and get him cash to take with him.  Madison and I laid on the couch all day.

I am now sitting on the back deck.  There is a cool breeze blowing after a blazing hot day.  The thunder sounds in the distance and small raindrops are starting to hit the top of my deck roof in a rhythmic kind of drum.  All is quiet here on this Friday night and it is just what I need.  I love the way the air suddenly smells kind of hot and steamy and just when the rain begins to drop there is a clean freshness.

My plants in the garden are thirsty and I'm sure they are happy for a drink.

This is a perfect night to open up the window, crawl into bed and rest. 

That is exactly what I plan to do as soon as this is posted.

Yesterday I promised that if Norman (Noah, Madi's friend) could get the video posted I'd include it for your viewing pleasure.  The video is a bit dark but I think if you listen really closely you'll be able to understand most of it.  I'm only giving you a quick glance at what our drive home was like yesterday.

You'd better go "pee" first first....
I wouldn't want anybody...well you know. It is pretty funny!

Normally I keep the faces of my family hidden to protect their own privacy but have been given permission to share this.
