Stop Waiting..........

You want to know how to be here?

Stop waiting for something.

On a rare day....it happens,

I find something inside of me,

remove all my perceptions and expectations

and

just be.

I find it hard to do on most days.

I think when...

I get finished with...

after I do this project....

after the kids finish this season....

when I get this next degree.....

then...

then...

I will be happy.

My truth,

or the truth for me on this day is,

happiness does not come from the wait....

it comes

when

I stop looking to the next moment,

or

living into tomorrow

or

worrying about the thing I didn't do right,

or say correctly,

or

that people think I'm weird,

or dumb,

or

not sexy hot---

As I get older,

perhaps,

just a bit wiser on some days,

what I realize is this:

If I can look the moment in the eye,

stare it down,

take it in,

and

give

my whole over into it

fully...

then

presence wins

and

I allow

the moment

to overtake me...

Life comes rushing at me,

wrapping

wonder around me,

contentment moves over

and

I

stop waiting

and

Live.

I wish

I could do it more often..

experience life

rather than think about it.

So for today,

my goal...

take in the wonder of Universal Creation,

Look folks in the eye,

say hello, how are you? and mean it.

kiss my husband,

love my children,

embrace the world...

today..

in this moment...

I

choose to

stop waiting...

and

Live

fully with color

in this sexy hot body of mine!!!
