Pass the Umbrella...it just keeps raining....

“The richness of the rain made me feel safe and protected; I have always considered the rain to be healing -- a blanket -- the comfort of a friend. Without at least some rain in any given day, or at least a cloud or two on the horizon, I feel overwhelmed by the information of sunlight and yearn for the vital, muffling gift of falling water.”  Douglas Coupland, Life After God

Whew!!!
What the week from hell!!!
I guess you all know by now that I have not written in a couple of days...
for good reason...
first Big Daddy
in his computer illiterate mode of pretending to surf the net---mainly he only plays hearts---
opened up a link
and suddenly
the desktop was fried.
The next morning
I sat down to write my morning blog...
shit....my laptop would not connect to the Internet.
Work has been a frenzy of a place as of late
lots of new systems
and
lots of change
which makes for anxiety
long story short
.....
i left to go to my office early
on the same morning my laptop fried--I wanted to get some work done
and
guess what
my desk top was wiped out at work...attack of the monster virus from hell
I was without a computer for two days
................
when it rains it pours they say....
It seems our router at home--
which never fries
fried
we now have a new one
our computer repair person
craig---bless his heart---he probably should
give us some kind of frequent caller card--
anyway craig said
that routers never die--they are like trashcans..
well
our trashcan died.

Big Daddy's heart computer is having an in depth viral removal and should be back soon--we got the internet back a couple of hours ago!!!!

so
if you have missed me
I am back
and
let me tell you
i've missed writing

what the week
when it rains
it pours

but
then that makes a week from hell's end
so glorious...

tomorrow is rest day
Saturday
and
I'm back on line....

Have a great night...
and
if your having a bit of rain yourself
get a good umbrella
and
sit it out..
it eventually will pass
and
will make the sun look oh so bright..

Happy Friday

The radical Rambler

It's much like this at our house. If one thing happens, then ten things happen! Glad everything is back in order!
