She's Back....Are Robins like Rabbits?

Angie Ostrowiski: It feels like I'm sh&^%ing a knife!
from the movie Baby Mama

This weekend while doing my usual weekend laundry catch up, I looked out the window and  I saw movement on the nest that I've been making (inviting) you to read about this season.
It was a rainy day and a lot colder than it had been for a couple of weeks.  While folding towels, I watched the nest and realized that the Baby Mama Robin of brother Cletus and the sisters three was on the nest again.
I got all excited because I was just sure she'd brought the kids back for a visit.
I finished up my folding and ran upstairs to the deck.
Yes--I did it again.
I got down on my knees, put my face against the dirty deck floor and stared down into the nest thinking
that I'd see Cletus staring back at me.
What the F$%$!
I swear I think Robins must be as busy as rabbits, pretty soon you'll be
seeing girlie nudie magazines lining the shelves with a robins head on them....
perhaps it will be called "Play Bird".
There in the nest was two tiny blue robin eggs....I couldn't believe it.
At least we humans are promised six weeks before we are even at risk (that's if you have a C-section).
Of course for me, Baby Robin Mama, I will have to admit, my son was only three months old when I found out I was impregnated again.  I can assure you.  I do know how you feel.
Later in the evening, I saw her on the nest again.
I plan to go out later today and check to see how many mouths she'll be feeding soon.  She did have a rather stressed look in her eyes and think I could hear her whisper the line I from the movie, Baby Mama,
where Amy Poehler who plays, Angie Ostrowiski,  [as she enters the hospital, about to go into labor] says:
It feels like I'm sh^%ting a knife!
(if you are a church person forget you just saw a minister quotes something like this!)
And sorry for you....you know there will be more stories to follow
about Baby Mama Robin and her growing flock!

Happy Monday and Hugs to all of You!

update:  there are now three eggs!

Awww I hope we get to see pictures of them when they hatch. I rescued a baby bird this week. I'm hoping it survived.
